description

A long, narrow site is studied as a strip. Three paper models set the same rectangle side by side, each folded, scored, or slit differently. Later drawings stack the plan in layers and set out a row of trees, and a final chipboard model places the strip beside a bank of open compartments.

The ground is treated as a sheet. Slits open into shallow ramps, folds become edges, and a long section shows the surface lifting slowly toward one end. The models stay close to paper: thin, pale, and legible as one material that has been cut and bent.
