bi-fork table

5 plates
bi-fork table — plate 01

description

A small table is modeled as one continuous white base that rises from the floor, turns under the top, and splits into two tapering prongs running back along the ground. A dark wood top, shaped as a rounded teardrop, rests on the upper arm, with a notch cut to receive it.

The wireframe shows the base as a single surface with no joint between leg, arm, and fork. In front elevation it narrows to a stem. In side view it opens into a C. The top is a separate material set onto something grown, and the fork holds both the weight and the balance.
